We've warmed back into the 80s with a strong south breeze this afternoon. This south breeze will also create some rip currents along the north shore this evening. It is advised to stay out of Lake Michigan. We'll stay dry this evening then a quick round of showers and storms is likely late tonight and into early tomorrow morning. No severe weather is expected. Up to a quarter inch of rain is possible.
The rest of the week is dry, and we start heating up into the weekend. We climb near 90 on Saturday and the hottest day of summer, so far, maybe Sunday. We could see an even bigger surge of heat in the middle of next week.
